Real Madrid completes its second training session of the week

The available first-team players, Adán, Jesús, Carvalho, Essien, and Callejón, trained together with a group of academy players

While waiting for the majority of the international players currently based with their respective national teams to return, which they will do tomorrow, José Mourinho led another training session, the second one this week. The Portuguese coach had five players available from the first team, Adán, Jesús, Carvalho, Essien, and Callejón, in addition to the academy players Omar, José Rodríguez, Quini, Derik, Sobrino, Raúl, and Jota, to continue preparing for the next Spanish League match against Celta de Vigo in the Santiago Bernabéu stadium (Saturday, 6:00 p.m., C + Liga and Gol T).

The Whites held the training session at field I of the Real Madrid training facilities. It was the last session before the international players currently based with their national teams return tomorrow to training with the goal of continuing to prepare for the Galician team’s visit this Saturday to the Santiago Bernabéu stadium for the game that will take place on the eighth day of La Liga play.

Today’s training session was similar to those of the past few days. From the beginning, the players divided themselves into two groups to perform warm-up exercises: the outfield players, with four first-team players and seven academy players, among them players from Castilla and Real Madrid C, and the goalkeepers. Rui Faria, assistant to José Mourinho, and Silvino Louro, trainer for the goalkeepers, led both groups in the first few minutes.
